An email sent last evening (12/8/21) to all Texas Employers from Texas Workforce Commission about Gregg Abbott’s executive order GA-40 which advises no employer can compel receipt of proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and if an employee is fired for not providing this, they are still eligible for unemployment insurance, and may be prosecuted directly by the State of Texas. Absolutely bonkers. Read it for yourself here:
